'Dangerous Drugs' Found On Woman In Warminster

In a vehicle stop last month, Warminster Police said the female passenger was wanted on a warrant for dangerous drugs in Florida.

WARMINSTER, PA —In a vehicle stop last month, Warminster Police found that a female passenger was wanted on a warrant for "dangerous drugs" in Florida.

On a routine patrol, a Warminster Township police officer stopped a truck with an expired registration.

After running both occupants in the vehicle through the County Radio Room, it was determined that there was a warrant for the 59-year-old female passenger for failure to appear out of Orange County, Florida, police said.

Police said the warrant was for full extradition for dangerous drugs.

The woman had drugs in her possession, which were turned over to the officer.

She was handcuffed and transported back to headquarters without incident. The woman was arraigned, and bail was set at 10 percent of $200,000, police said.

The woman will be charged with possession and was remanded to Bucks County Prison to await extradition.
