DUI, Stolen Catalytic Converters, And More: Warminster Twp. Police Log

WARMINSTER, PA — The Warminster Township Police Department reported several crimes that occurred in the area from May 22 to May 27.

May 22

- Police responded to the area of the 600 block of E. Street Road for a vehicle crash. Officers found a Honda Pilot partially off the roadway in the grass with damage to the front of the vehicle; a building in the area was partially damaged by the vehicle as well. Police determined that the 23-year-old driver was intoxicated. He was arrested for DUI and related offenses.
- A 20-year-old Wyncote man was arrested for Fleeing and Eluding Police and related offenses on Davisville Road. Officers attempted to stop the vehicle for multiple traffic violations when conducting a traffic detail on the road. Police were able to locate the vehicle and operator who was subsequently charged with the offenses.
May 23
- Police responded to the area of the 200 block of Nemoral Street for a report of a catalytic converter theft from a Mack Cabover work truck.
May 24

- Police responded to a business located in the area of E. Street Road and Newtown Road for a report of a theft of two catalytic converters from two separate Isuzu NPR Truck.
May 25
- Police responded to the area of the 200 block of Veteran’s Way for the theft of a catalytic converter from an Isuzu NPR Penske Truck.
May 26
- Police were dispatched to the 200 block of W. Street Road for a burglary in progress. A 39-year-old Warrington man was found in the rear yard of the property. He reportedly had just exited the residence through a rear bathroom window and ended up in the yard, where he was taken into custody. He was charged with felony burglary, criminal trespass, theft, and receiving stolen property.
- Police responded to a vehicle crash in the area of the 100 block of E. Street Road. After officers were advised that the striking vehicle had left the scene, they were eventually able to locate the operator. The 32-year-old Warminster man was charged with leaving the scene of the crash and related offenses.
May 27
- Police responded to the area of Davisville Road and Countyline Road for an assault. The person in question reportedly left the area and was later located. Police cited a 19-year-old Philadelphia woman with harassment.
- Police were dispatched to the area of Evergreen Avenue and Lemon Street for a report of a disturbance. Officers issued a citation to a 45-year-old Warminster woman for public drunkenness.
