Munroe Projected Winner Of Tight 144th Legislative Race In Warminster
Democrat Brian Munroe is projected to have upset Republican incumbent Todd Polinchock in Tuesday's election by less than 400 votes.

WARMINSTER, PA —Democratic challenger Brian Munroe is the projected winner for state representative in the 144th Legislative District in Warminster Township and Ivyland, narrowly defeating Republican incumbent Todd Polinchock in Tuesday's general election.

Less than 400 votes separate the two candidates, according to the Bucks County Board of Elections.

Unofficial Election Results for Warminster Township in Ivyland Borough:
With 100 percent of the precincts reporting, the Bucks County Board of Elections said that Munroe received 15,898 votes —or 50.58 percent —while Polinchock received 15,481 votes —or 49.32 percent, according to unofficial vote totals.
In the 6th Senate District race, Republican incumbent Frank Farry was the projected winner in his re-election bid with 61,586 votes. Democrat Anne Marie Mitchell received 56,275 votes while Libertarian Brandon Bentrim received 1,920 votes.
For the 1st District U.S. Congressional District race, Republican incumbent Brian Fitzpatrick was the projected winner over Democrat Ashley Ehasz. Fitzpatrick received 169,506 votes while Ehasz received 137,607 votes.
