First Ever Warminster Food Bank Donation Dash Coming In May

WARMINSTER, PA — The first annual Warminster Food Bank Donation Dash 5K Run & Walk will take place on May 7 from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. at Warminster Community Park.

Proceeds from the event will benefit the Warminster Food Bank, a 501c3 organization that serves over 650 families per month in Bucks and Montgomery Counties.

"We were looking for an event that would help raise funds to support our mission and be a fun day out for all involved," said Mike Cerino, Director of the food bank. "We decided on a 5K Run and Walk and invite runners and walkers of all ages and abilities to come out and take part in the first of many Donation Dash 5K Runs/Walks."

Monetary donations are also welcome for those who wish to help but are unable to participate in the race. Those wishing to donate can contact Patrick McKay at 610-416-5326 or via email at mail@warminsterfoodbank.org.

Tickets for the event cost $25. Those participating in the sanctioned and timed race will receive a t-shirt. Those wishing to run or walk can register for the event here. The deadline to register online is May 4 at 11:59 p.m.
