Flyers Caravan Hits Bucks Co. On Monday
Gritty and friends will be on hand for a parade Monday afternoon in Warminster.
WARMINSTER, PA — Gritty and friends will be visiting Bucks County on Monday afternoon as part of the Philadelphia Flyer's community caravan tour.
The local stop on the club's traveling, socially distant pep rally, will take place in Warminster starting at 4 p.m. on Monday. The parade will start at Henry and Chestnut streets.
The caravan is designed to hype up Flyers fans for playoff hockey in the summertime. It has been making stops throughout the Philadelphia region since July 7.

While the hands-on activities of past caravans will be shelved this year, it will features the team's own DJ Reed Streets, in-arena host Andrea Helfrich, Flyers alumni, the Flyers Ice Team and, of course, Gritty on a tandem bike with his men in black.
There will be exclusive giveaways of gear including beach balls, bucket hats, Frisbees, kites and sunglasses.

"Due to the ongoing pandemic, we've adapted the format of the caravan to create a safe and engaging event series that our fans will enjoy," said Flyers spokesman Mark Zarthar. "With postseason hockey to occur at neutral locations, we are eager to use the caravan to bring playoff excitement into our local communities this summer."
