WARMINSTER, PA —A township man has been charged with several drug offenses after police found "golf ball-sized" cocaine in a hotel room where he was staying.

Eric Lucier, 39, of Warminster Township, was charged with possession of a controlled substance and possession with intent to deliver after turning himself in to police on Thursday.

Warminster Police responded to Home 2 Suites at 230 Veterans Way on March 9 after hotel staff entered a room and found suspected cocaine.

Police said hotel staff stated a renter was paying for a room daily and had failed to pay when required.

As the hotel staff prepared the room for the next guest, they found belongings along with "golf ball" sized items of a powdery white solid material and packaging material consistent with drug use, police said.

Warminster Detectives found "several golf ball-sized items" of cocaine, cash, scales, packaging, and other drug paraphernalia.

Lad testing revealed the substance was cocaine at a weight of 61 grams, police said.

Lucier turned himself in, where he was processed, arraigned, and released on bail.
