Man Uses Car In Aggravated Assault: Warminster Crimes

The Warminster Township Police Department has released its blotter of criminal incidents for February.

WARMINSTER, PA —A man used his car to hit another driver in an aggravated assault that was included in the Warminster Township Police Department's blotter of criminal incidents for February.

These are the criminal incidents:

  • Officers responded to Warminster Community Park for an ordinance violation. A 21-year-old man, a 22-year-old man, and a 23-year-old man were cited for being in the park after dark.
  • Officers responded to Mike's York Road Tavern where a 32-year-old man couldn't pay his bar bill. After locating someone to translate, and establish identity, the man was transported home. The man was cited for Public Drunkenness.
  • A woman came to police headquarters to advise of a Protection from Abuse order violation. The woman advised that the 36-year-old man whom she had a Protection from Abuse order had contacted her on social media. The man had made comments about her on various social media platforms. The man was picked up and transported to District Court for arraignment. Bail was set for 10 percent of $10,000 and the male was transported to Bucks County Prison.
  • Officers were dispatched to York and Street Roads for a report of a hit and run. Upon further investigation, it was determined to be an aggravated assault involving a vehicle. The victim of the accident spoke with Police and stated the other driver had left the scene. A driver who witnessed the accident had obtained video footage of the accident and showed it to Police. Other drivers had witnessed the accident and followed the driver and called the Police. Officers responded to Norristown Road, where the suspect involved in the accident was. He was advised that he had hit the other driver as he was getting out of his car. A 37-year-old man was taken into custody and arraigned before Judge Kronnegal and bail was set at $35,000 unsecured. The man will be charged with Aggravated Assault, Simple Assault, and numerous other charges.
