Police Foil Warminster Gun Shop Burglary
Warminster Township police officers disrupted a burglary in progress recently at The Bunker Gun Shop.
WARMINSTER TOWNSHIP, PA — Warminster police officers foiled a burglary in progress at a township gun shop last month, police said.
Police officers responded to The Bunker Gun Shop for a report of an audible alarm.
Officers found a suspect dressed in black and wearing a ski mask behind the building, carrying a duffel bag and two rifles, and was trying to leave the area.

Police officers drew their weapons and directed the man to lie on the ground.
The unidentified 18-year-old dropped the duffel bag, and a backpack was removed from him as well, police said.

He was handcuffed and was escorted to a police vehicle to be transported back to police headquarters for processing.
The man's vehicle was located near and towed to the police impound yard.
The suspect was arraigned by District Justice Chris O'Neill, and bail was set at 10 percent of $750,000.
He was taken by constables to the Bucks County Prison.
The crime was reported by the Warminster Township Police Department in its blotter of criminal incidents for July released this week.
