Police Officers Injured, Assault On Family: Warminster Crimes
The Warminster Township Police Department has released its blotter of criminal incidents for January.
WARMINSTER, PA —Police officers were injured while serving a mental health warrant. Meanwhile, an 18-year-old man broke into a home to try and hurt family members.
The Warminster Township Police Department has released its blotter of criminal incidents for January, including those crimes.

- While on routine patrol, a police officer noticed two men walking on Jacksonville Road in the area of Potter Street. One man was holding the other up as they walked. The officer observed one of the men fall. The officer stopped to see if the man was injured. The officer transported the 47-year-old man home. He will be cited for Public Drunkenness via the mail.
- Police officers responded to Horseshoe Lane to serve a Mental Health Warrant. The 20-year-old woman was combative and needed to be sedated before she could be transported for evaluation. Numerous police officers were injured, and the woman will be charged with aggravated assault on an officer and numerous other charges.
- Officers were dispatched to High Road School for a report of an assault. A 16-year-old male made threats to a female student. The female's mother advised that there have been other incidents involving this teen before and she wanted to press charges. He will be charged with harassment.
- Officers were dispatched to Windsor Road for a report of a domestic disturbance in progress. An 18-year-old man had broken a window in an attempt to gain entry to the house. Upon entering the house, he proceeded to physically assault family members. He was charged with Simple Assault, Loitering and Prowling, Disorderly Conduct, and Public Intoxication. He was arraigned, bail was set at 10 percent of $75,000, and he was taken to Bucks County Prison.
- Officers were dispatched to York Road for a report of a man lying on the ground. When officers located and spoke to the man it was determined that he was under the influence of alcohol. The 46-year-old man was cited for public drunkenness and transported home.
- Police responded to Mueller Road for a report of a domestic in progress. When police arrived, they found a 25-year-old man lying in the front yard. The woman on the scene advised that her brother is suffering from addiction and in a struggle, she accidentally dialed 911. The family is trying to get the male into rehab. The man was cited for Public Drunkenness.
- Police were dispatched to Warminster Heights for a man and woman who were going door to door soliciting for an energy company. They didn't have a Solicitor Permit issued by the Township and soliciting is not allowed in Warminster Heights. The 19-year-old man and the 18-year-old woman were both cited for violating the township's Soliciting Ordinance.
