Rhode Island Retailer Opens New Location In Warminster

WARMINSTER, PA — Rhode Island-based retailer Ocean State Job Lot (OSJL) opened their latest store location in Warminster this week.

The retailer's fifth Pennsyvlania location, the store is located in the Davisville Center, taking the place of the former Acme Supermarket at 808 E. Street Rd. The 52,843 square foot location was purchased by the company in September.

"We’re looking forward to sharing Ocean State Job Lot’s unique shopping experience with our new neighbors in Warminster," said Matt Messina, a Store Team Leader of Ocean State Job Lot. "From seasonal items and home essentials, including spring lawn clean-up supplies, to pantry staples, paper goods, pool and patio supplies, and a wide array of cleaning products, Ocean State Job Lot offers unbeatable prices and selection."

To honor the opening of the new Bucks County location, the OSJL Charitable Foundation is donating a pallet of shelf-stable food to the Warminster Food Bank through its Pallets to Pantries program. In addition, personal protection products, with a total retail value of nearly $6,000, will be made available to area police, fire, and ambulance personnel.

"Founded in 1977, Ocean State Job Lot is a growing, privately held discount retail chain with 147 stores in New England, New York, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania, approximately 5,600 employees, and annual sales exceeding $800 million," the company said in a statement on the new location.

Back in January, the company announced that they were looking to hire staff members in thir new Bucks County location. They will operate from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. every day.

The Rhode Island-based company also has a location in Montgomeryville at 980 Bethlehem Pike. Representatives said that they plan on opening locations in State College, Shillington, and Willow Street before the end of 2022.
