String Of Business Thefts In Warminster, Police Say

A string of Warminster business burglaries at a hair salon and two smoke shops are under investigation, authorities said.

WARMINSTER, PA - A string of Warminster business burglaries that took place this month are currently under investigation, authorities said.

A closed hair salon on the 500 block of York Road was burglarized overnight on Aug. 3, Warminster police said in a blotter statement. It was reported that an unknown person or persons entered through a rear door of the business and lifted an undisclosed amount of money and checks, police added.

Warminster police are also investigating a reported burglary on Aug. 14 at The Great American Smoke Shop on the 200 block of York Road. During overnight hours, forced entry had been made into the store and an unknown amount of merchandise was swiped.

A suspect has been named in the case, police said.

An Aug. 13 burglary at The Good Vibes Vape Shop on W. Street Road is also under investigation, with police noting an overnight break-in and damage to the front door.

The person or persons involved left with an unknown amount of merchandise including vape pens, cartridges and edibles. Some items and packaging were recovered by police nearby, Warminster authorities said.
