Threats Made To Slit Throats, Run Over Children: Warminster Crimes

The Warminster Township Police Department has released its blotter of criminal incidents for March.

WARMINSTER, PA — The Warminster Township Police Department has released its blotter of criminal incidents for March, including separate incidents where a teenager had a knife and wanted to slit throats and a woman threatened to run over children playing in a field.

These are the criminal incidents:

  • Officers were dispatched to Costco for a Retail Theft. Dispatch advised that the suspect was in custody of Loss Prevention and was cooperating. The total value of the product the suspect attempted to take was $1,199.70. The 22-year-old man was transported back to headquarters and virtually arraigned before Judge Hughes. He was charged with Retail Theft and Receiving Stolen Property. Bail was set at 10 percent of $50,000. The man was then transported to Bucks County Prison.
  • While on routine patrol, an officer observed a man running from behind a business on York Road. When the officer stopped him, the 18-year-old man said the bathroom at the hookah bar was occupied, so they went out behind the business to urinate. The man will be cited for Disorderly Conduct via the mail.
  • Officers were dispatched to Prospect Road for a report of a suspect armed with a knife and threatening to slit throats. The 15-year-old male juvenile ran from the area and was detained not far from the house. A knife was located in the backyard of the home. Central Bucks Emergency Services responded and transported the teenager to Lenape Valley Crisis Center in Doylestown. Charges will be filed at a later date.
  • An officer was dispatched to Knights Street for a report that a woman tried to run children down with her car. Upon further investigation, the Officer learned that some girls were harassing each other through social media, and the woman's daughter was being harassed. The children were playing in a field, and the 40-year-old woman drove her vehicle into the field where they were playing. The woman will be cited for Disorderly Conduct and Trespass by Motor Vehicle.
  • Officers were dispatched to Walmart for a report of a Retail Theft in progress. When officers arrived, they spoke to the 33-year-old man who had stolen Pokémon cards. He was cited for Retail Theft.
  • Officers were dispatched to CVS on Countyline Road for a Retail Theft. An employee advised that an older man came in and stole all their eye drops. A 54-year-old man is a suspect. The investigation is ongoing.
