Warminster Democrats Take 2 Supervisors Seats

Warminster Supervisors Chairman Ken Hayes won re-election in Tuesday's general election, according to unofficial results.

WARMINSTER TOWNSHIP, PA — Warminster Township Supervisor Kenneth Hayes won re-election in Tuesday's general election while former Supervisor Mary Owens will be returning to the board, according to unofficial results.

They held off two GOP challengers who ran unsuccessfully in prior years, Robert J. Guarini and Vitaliy Velenchuk. There was also a contested race for tax collector. See results below

Warminster Supervisor Judy Hoover did not seek re-election.

All precincts reported their vote tallies from Tuesday's election.

Results in Tuesday's general election are unofficial until they are certified by the Bucks County Board of Elections at a later date.

Warminster Township Municipal Offices

Supervisor: 6-Year Term (Vote for 2)

  • Mary Owens (Democrat) — 6,705 votes
  • Ken Hayes (Democrat) — 6,362 votes
  • Robert J. Guarini (Republican) — 5,301 votes
  • Vitaliy Velenchuk (Republican) — 4,584 votes

Tax Collector: 4-Year Term (Vote for 1)

  • Nicole Rinier (Democrat) — 7,242 votes
  • Eugene J. Lyall (Republican) — 4,817 votes
