Warminster Grows Administrative Team

Randee Elton has been hired as the assistant township manager, and Greg Hucklebridge joins the administration next week as director of engineering and operations.

Keeping with his plan to transition Warminster to a more efficiently run township, manager Rich Manfredi has hired two people to the administrative team that will help spread out his responsibilities.

Randee Elton, formerly director of communications for Lower Providence Township, started on Monday as the new assistant township manager. According to Manfredi, Elton will be integrated into all of the township's operations, but will directly supervise the Department of Licenses & Inspections and management of the clubhouse at Five Ponds Golf Course.

"The reason I came here is because Rich has pointed Warminster in a good direction, and I wanted to be part of it," said Elton, an Abington resident.

Starting next Monday, Greg Hucklebridge will join the township as the director of engineering and operations. Manfredi says that this will be an expansion of the duties normally performed by the public works director.

"This places more of the field operations under one director," said Manfredi. "Plus, by bringing in someone like Greg, who has a lot of engineering training and experience, this will reduce our own engineering costs."

Hucklebridge, a 2003 graduate of Lehigh University with a bachelor's in civil engineering, left his former position for seven years as a project manager at Carroll Engineering Corporation to join the public sector. An active member of the Wamrinster community, Hucklebridge currently serves as president for the Warminster Rotary Club.

"This is a natural fit for me," said Hucklebridge. "I love working on projects that fix up infrastructure, and this will get me even more involved with my community."
