Warminster Mailman Saves Man's Life On His Route
The U.S. Postal Service awarded Michael Till with the Postmaster General Hero Award after he performed CPR on an unconsious man.

WARMINSTER, PA — A Warminster mail carrier was honored by the U.S. Postal Service for saving another man's life while on his route.
Michael Till was awarded the Postmaster General Hero Award in a ceremony in Warminster on Wednesday. Till had saved a man's life after he found him unconscious on his route; he proceeded to perform CPR on an unconscious man.
Till found the man lying on the sidewalk while recently delivering mail. He called 911 and, under the guidance of the dispatcher on the other line, gave the man chest compressions until he began to breathe again.

"I actually kept it together pretty well," Till told Fox29. "I was surprised. Once they got him out of there and the cops said, ‘Hey good job,’ it hit me like I just saved somebody. It’s a weird feeling."
The Postmaster General Hero Award is given to people in Till's profession who go above and beyond to perform heroic acts while working.

"I just did what I thought I had to do," Till told Fox29. "Hopefully someone would be there if they found me laying in the street, too."
Till was able to meet the man he saved, who was "beyond thankful" for saving his life.
