WARMINSTER, PA — A retirement community in Warminster is planning a major expansion in the coming year.

Christ's Home Retirement Community, at 1 Shepherd's Way in Warminster, plans to build 30 new independent living apartments as well as developing new public space, adding two new cottages, building a new doctor's office and more.

The plans also include the McKeown House for Memory Respite Care — a facility for family's providing full-time care in their homes — and a new dining room and a larger social hall, according to Christ's Home CEO John Bryant.

In December, the group received preliminary approval for the project from Warminster Township.

"This project continues an expansion of facilities and services for senior adults that began back in 2008," Bryant said in a news release. "We are excited to continue our growth and expand our services. We are especially excited to bring to Warminster a new concept with the McKeown House for Memory Respite Care."
