Warminster Township Gets $10K PECO Grant

WARMINSTER TOWNSHIP, PA — The Warminster Township Parks and Recreation has received a $10,000 PECO Green Region Grant.

Township officials said the grant will be used to support the planting of new trees in Kemper Park.

The tree planting project will take place in the meadow area located at the corner of Sinkler and Valley Roads, with completion expected in the fall.

The grant, awarded through PECO’s Green Region Open Space Program in partnership with Natural Lands, supports municipal efforts to preserve and improve open space, enhance green areas, and promote environmental stewardship throughout southeastern Pennsylvania.
