Warminster Woman Get Probation For Assault With Broken Bottle

WARMINSTER TOWNSHIP, PA — A Warminster Township woman was sentenced to probation for charges related to her role in a domestic assault incident that occurred in Hilltown Township last April.

Crews was sentenced by Common Pleas Judge Raymond McHugh, who gave her one year of probation, as well as having to pay $7,907.05 in restitution and court fees, according to court records.

Back in April, Crews was arrested on the 800 block of East Creamery Road on suspicion of attacking her ex-boyfriend in his home with a broken beer bottle. The incident occurred on April 4, 2021.
Police responded to the house, where they said they found the victim with blood-soaked makeshift bandages covering his upper right arm. He told police he was awoken by Crews as he slept; he said Crews had been staying with him, but that she did not have a key to the house.

After an argument, the victim told police that Crews broke a beer bottle and threw it at him, which caused the six-inch-long laceration on his arm.
The victim was transported to Grand View Hospital by ambulance with non-life-threatening injuries, according to the Hilltown Township Police Department.
Investigators found that Crews had smashed a window to gain entry to the home. She was still on the scene when the police arrived.
As part of her sentence, Crews is prohibited from contacting the victim.
