Wawa Vs. Sheetz: Residents Overwhelmingly Picked A Winner

PENNSYLVANIA — The results are in over the great state convenience store debate.

Patch recently polled readers on whether Wawa or Sheetz was the best convenience store in the Commonwealth.

The "Sheetz vs. Wawa" debate is a friendly rivalry common in Pennsylvania and surrounding areas about the two popular convenience store chains.

Of 4,182 votes tallied, Wawa was the winner in a landslide victory.

Wawa, which operates throughout the Philadelphia region, beat Sheetz, which has locations more in the northern and western sections of the state.

Wawa received 3,473 votes (or 83.05 percent) compared to Sheetz, which garnered 709 votes (16.95 percent).

Both also offer touchscreen ordering for made-to-order food, and are known for their strong brand loyalty.

Wawa is often praised for its hoagies and coffee, while Sheetz is known for its vast customization options and Sheetz Bros. Coffeez.
