• West Hazleton man arrested on drug charges (standardspeaker.com) — West Hazleton residents should know that local police led a months-long investigation that resulted in the arrest of a Hazleton man and the seizure of a large amount of cocaine and cash. Working with state and county narcotics teams, officers say they confiscated over 300 grams of cocaine and more than $24,000, with the suspect now held in Luzerne County Prison on bail.
