The change follows a lawsuit over the earlier contract amendment, and the township will seek new trash bids when its Waste Management deal expires next year. 
• Crews battle structure fire in Marion Township (butlereagle.com) — West Sunbury volunteer firefighters joined neighboring departments Sunday morning to battle a porch fire on County Line Road in freezing temperatures. Crews from Harrisville and Clintonville mounted a rapid, coordinated attack that used multiple trucks and water tankers, while departments later shared updates and support for the affected family on Facebook.
