1,800K Items Gifted By Giant To West Chester Area School District

Giants donated school supplies and household items to students across the district's 17 schools.

WEST CHESTER, PA —West Chester Area School District is celebrating a boost for its students this year, as Giant Food Stores demonstrated their unwavering commitment to the community.

Five local Giant stores donated and delivered 1,800 items, including school supplies and household items for disadvantaged students in 17 schools in the district,

"We are so appreciative of exceptional partners like Giant,” Tricia Alston, a district social worker in the district, said of the donation.

Alston said Giants’ generosity and commitment contribute to making the community a better place to live, work, and learn. The items were distributed by home and school visitors in the district.
