$1 Million Scratch-Off Lotto Ticket Sold In West Chester
Someone bought a winning scratch-off ticket at Rite Aid in West Chester, and their ticket is worth $1 million.
WEST CHESTER, PA —The Rite Aid pharmacy store on West Chester Pike sold a $1 million-winning scratch-off ticket yesterday.
The$1,000,000 Merry Money card was purchased by an unknown person on Thursday, according to Pennsylvania Lottery headquarters in Middletown, Pa. The scratch-off game cards cost $20.
"$1,000,000 Merry Money" offers top prizes of $1 million. Players can learn more about the game by visiting the Lottery's website or downloading the Official App. Scratch-off prizes expire one year from the game's end-sale date posted at palottery.com.

Winners should immediately sign the back of their ticket and call the Lottery at 1-800-692-7481.
The store at 1249 West Chester Pike receives a $5,000 bonus for selling a winning ticket, the Pennsylvania Lottery said.

The Pennsylvania Lottery directs all proceeds to benefit older state residents. Since ticket sales began in 1972, the Lottery reports it has contributed more than $31 billion to fund property tax and rent rebates, transportation, care services, prescription assistance, and local services including senior centers and meals.4
According to the PA Lottery's benefits page, Chester County has received $19,353,618 in Lottery-generated benefits.
