2,302 Residents In Chesco Still Without Power: PECO
PECO hopes to have power restored to all customers today.
CHESTER COUNTY, PA —Two days after a severe storm passed through Chester County, a total of 2,302 Chester County customers were still without power.
PECO expects to get all the power for nearly all the customers today, although scattered outages may run into Thursday, PECO spokesman Brian Ahrens said.
“We are hard at work and trying to get power back for everyone today,” Ahrens said. “It was a big, powerful storm and it hit quickly. We are working around the clock.”

Ahrens said that overall 139,000 customers with without power during the storm.
PECO has brought in contractors from outside utility companies to help with the restoration.

The outages are scattered throughout Chester County.
The municipalities include East Bradford, East Fallowfield, East Marlborough, Easttown, Kennett, London Brituan, Londonderry, Lower Oxford, New Garden, Newlin, North Coventry, Pennsbury, Upper Oxford, Uwchlan, West Caln, West Chester, West Goshen, West Marlborough, and West Nottingham.
Power is also out for 1,537 residents in Delaware County and 457 in Montgomery County.
PECO will provide updates by phone or text message to customers with the estimated time the power will go back.
During the next five years, PECO is investing approximately $7.8 billion across its electric and natural gas systems to inspect the equipment, complete infrastructure enhancements, and corrective maintenance, invest in new equipment, and perform vegetation management work.
