2 Charged With First-Degree Homicide In Sadsbury Twp. Shooting
A PA State Police investigation into a Chester County shooting death in June has brought homicide charges for two Philadelphia residents.
CHESTER COUNTY, PA — Two Philadelphia men are each charged with first-degree homicide in the shooting death of a man in Sadsbury Township in June.
Pennsylvania State Police said on Wednesday two people are now charged in relation to a shooting death in Sadsbury Township on June 22 in Chester County.
In the early hours of June 22, Trooper found a man dead of a gunshot wound in the 1900 block of Valley Drive. He was shot several times, according to the police report. The suspects had fled the scene by the time Troopers arrived. State Police early on said the death was being investigated as a homicide.

A two-month investigation led the Criminal Investigations Unit to multiple residences in Philadelphia with search warrants, said Kevin Kochka, PA State Trooper and Public Information Officer Troop J.
Lynelle Flowers, 26, and Zahir Randall, 20, both of Philadelphia, have been charged with criminal homicide, murder of the first degree, aggravated assault, discharge of a firearm into an occupied structure, and other related offenses.

Both men are awaiting their preliminary hearings in custody.
"On behalf of the Pennsylvania State Police, we would like to thank the members of the Chester County District Attorney's Office, the Philadelphia District Attorney's Office, as well as the investigating members from the Pennsylvania State Police for their cooperation, collaboration, and coordination in bringing justice to the Scott family," said Kochka.
Although arrests have been made, the case is still under investigation, Kochka said. If anyone has any additional information regarding this investigation, they are asked to contact the Criminal Investigations Unit at PSP-Embreeville at 610-486-6280.
