Homicide Suspected After 2 Found Dead In Chesco: Police
Police said the two individuals suffered cardiac arrest, but identified "suspicious circumstances" leading to their deaths.
LOWER OXFORD TOWNSHIP, PA — Two deaths in Chester County deemed suspicious by state police investigators are being investigated as homicides, Pennsylvania State Police said on Wednesday morning.
At 1:15 a.m. on Wednesday, Troopers from the Avondale Barracks went to the 300 block of Ashmun Avenue, responding to the reported cardiac arrests of two people, according to a State Police report.
Upon arrival, Troopers found the two adults were dead, and under "suspicious circumstances." EMS attempted life-saving measures on the scene, but were unsuccessful, the report said.

Trooper Kevin Kochka, PSP-Avondale said late Wedesday morning that the case is being investigated as a homicide. "Preliminary information suggests that there is no threat to the public currently," a State Police news release said.
Kochka said, "This is a preliminary release regarding an ongoing homicide investigation in our coverage area. Due to it being an active investigation, no further information can be provided at this time."

The Troop J Major Case Team was activated to investigate this incident in conjunction with the Kennett Township Police Department, Chester County Detectives, and the Chester County District Attorney's Office.
