2 Flasher Incidents In West Chester, 1 Brings Charges, 1 At Large
A man is charged with lewdness and indecent exposure after an incident Friday night in West Chester, as police look for another.
WEST CHESTER, PA — West Chester Borough Police reported two separate incidents of men who exposed themselves in public, one on Friday night and one early Saturday.
Police went to a home in the 600 block of E. Union Street around 9 p.m. Friday after someone reported seeing a man there exposing himself.
Officers investigated the situation and identified the suspect as Carl Smith, 52, of West Chester, according to the police report.

Smith has been charged with indecent exposure and open lewdness, a police report said. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for July 27, according to court records.
Chester County Court records show Smith is also currently facing charges for Theft and Receiving Stolen Property, in a July 3 case. A hearing in that case is scheduled for Aug. 13.

In a second case of public exposure in the Borough, West Chester police reported they are looking for a man who reportedly exposed himself on Saturday around 4 a.m. in the 300 block of S. Walnut Street. The man is described as white and about 40 years old, 5 feet and 6 or 7 inches tall, weighing 170-180 pounds.
