202 North Reopens Amid Snowstorm In Chester County

CHESTER COUNTY, PA — Northbound lanes of Route 202 have reopened Tuesday morning as the snowstorm continues to hammer the region.

The road had been shut down at around 8:15 a.m. due to deteriorating road conditions and multiple stuck vehicles.

The closure impacted the road north of Route 926, with vehicles stuck in the area of 1100 Wilmington Pike in West Chester.

PennDOT crews responded to the scene to plow the road, and emergency crews helped free trapped vehicles.

Motorists are urged not to drive unless absolutely necessary due to dangerous conditions.
