4 A.M. Parking Mishap Yields DUI Charge In West Chester
A West Chester woman is accused of hitting parked cars and taking off before police say they found her trying to park her wrecked car.
WEST CHESTER, PA — West Chester Borough police said they found a 23-year-old woman trying to park a damaged vehicle in the borough early Saturday morning. She has been charged with DUI after allegedly hitting parked cars and leaving the scene.
Around 4 a.m. on April 24, police arrived in the back of the 100 block of E. Nields Street where there was a disturbance.
Police reported that Carly Nance, 23, of West Chester, was attempting to park a vehicle that officers said was obviously damaged. Officer alleged that Nance struck a number of parked vehicles and left the scene, driving her vehicle while under the influence of alcohol.

She is charged with DUI and Accidents causing damage to unattended vehicles.
She was released on a summons, and a preliminary hearing is pending in Chester County District Court 15-1-04.
