The schemes occurred from October 2020 to August 2021 when the suspects were entrusted with the daily business operations of the doctor, using an electronic banking system, police said.
King and Ziegler were released on $100,000 bail each Wednesday afternoon being arraigned before District Judge Marc Lieberman in West Chester on numerous counts of theft, computer fraud and conspiracy and related charges.
According to police:
The investigation began in September 2021 after the doctor reported to Chester County detectives that money was stolen from his bank and credit cards from the name of his two businesses, Global Doctor and JVM Associates.
Detectives discovered over $450,000 had been stolen from the victim’s accounts.
They said Ziegler would send money to her boyfriend and King’s account. Ziegler used over $11,800 to pay for her rent in Exton.
