Assaults Of Woman And Four Children Lands Man In Jail: Oxford Police

OXFORD, PA —A 30-year-old Oxford man is in Chester County Prison in lieu of $150,000 bail Thursday accused of assaulting a woman and her four children on Aug. 20 in the 400 block of Broad Street.

Javier Bedolla-Barajas was arrested on charges of aggravated assault, recklessly endangering another person and related offenses.

Police said a victim reported that Bedello-Barajas assaulted her and her four children, beginning a 9 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 19 and continuing until noon Sunday when she called the police.

A search of the area was unsuccessful in locating Bedolla-Barajas.

At 9 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 20, officers from the Southern Chester County Regional Police Department received a tip that Bedolla-Barajas was in a residence in West Grove, where he was later arrested.
