Attention Homeowners: $2.7M Allocated In Chesco For Home Repairs
The funds are available to assist low to moderate-income residents in Chester County.
WEST CHESTER, PA – Chester County commissioners allocated $2.7 million to implement a Whole-Home Repairs program to help moderate to low-income homeowners make repairs to maintain safe living conditions, officials said Monday.
The Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development awarded the funds to the county from American Rescue Plan Act dollars allocated through the state budget process.
Chester County Commissioners Marian Moskowitz, Josh Maxwell, and Michelle Kichline
thanked state legislators for supporting the program, which is the first of its kind in the nation.

The funds available for each is a maximum of $25,000.
Homeowners are required to meet program eligibility requirements and approved scopes of work will only include repairs that directly address immediate health, safety, habitability, and accessibility concerns.

Applications will be accepted until all funds have been awarded to eligible applicants.
