Bam Margera Ordered Held For Trial In Chester County Court

WEST CHESTER, PA —Brandon “Bam” Margera, former star of MTV’s “Jackass,” was ordered held for court this afternoon on charges of assaulting his brother, Jesse, in the family residence, known as "Castle Bam" Pocopson Township.
Margera, 43, will stand trial on charges of being involved in a physical fight with his brother, Jesse.
The preliminary hearing before Judge Albert Iacocca was delayed two hours because Margera's flight from California was delayed.

The judge asked Margera to get a drug-and-alcohol test in the Chester County Justice Center before he left to ensure he was maintaining sobriety.
Margera is free on $50,000 bail.

Margera’s lawyer, Michael T. van Der Veen, said Bam Margera was planning to return to San Diego this afternoon.
The judge was trying to get the test scheduled for him before he leaves.
His brother, Jesse, took the stand, testifying for over an hour during the hearing about his relationship with his brother when Bam visited in April.
Jesse Margera said his brother hit him eight to 10 times, rupturing his ear.
Margera’s lawyer said Margera is not guilty and will fight the charges.
Family members and friends of the family attended the hearing.
Jesse Margera told police that his brother banged on his locked bedroom door early on Sunday, April 23, and left a threatening note against his family if Jesse called the police, according to court records.
Margera, a former professional skateboarder and stunt performer, denied that he did anything wrong.
State police said after the fight with his brother, Margera fled into a wooded area.
His brother, Jesse Margera, a drummer in the band CKY, wrote on Instagram: "He is a danger to himself and anyone around him and that is unacceptable."
