Bank Robbery In Chesco Results In Arrest Of Chronic Crook: Police
A 42-year-woman is awaiting extradition to Chester County in connection with the Oct. 22 robbery at TD Bank, West Goshen Township.

WEST GOSHEN, PA — A 42-year-old Delaware woman was arrested on charges of robbing TD Bank in Westtown Township and attempting to rob several other banks in Delaware on Oct. 22, police said Wednesday.
Lashawnda Jones of Wilmington is in custody in Delaware awaiting extradition to Chester County.

- At 12:40 p.m. police responded to TD bank for a robbery. A weapon was not displayed. But it was implied that the suspect had a weapon.
- Police began an investigation, discovering a description of the suspect’s vehicle.
- The vehicle description was relayed to Delaware state police who located the suspect's vehicle was located in the parking lot of another TD-Bank in Delaware.
- Jones was taken into custody on charges in the Chester County robbery and two attempted bank robberies that occurred on the same day at other bank.
- Jones was previously arrested by the Westtown-East Goshen Regional Police Department in 2004 and again in 2010 for committing bank robberies at this same bank location in Westtown Township.
According to Chester County Court records:
- Jones was sentenced on Oct. 4, 2012 to two to four years in state prison, followed by seven years of probation after pleading guilty to robbery.
- She was sentenced on Dec. 21. 2005 to two to four years in state prison after pleading guilty, followed by three years of probation after pleading guilty to robbery.
