Bikers Heat Up the Streets of West Chester

Check out this Patch photo gallery.

Under stifling heat and humid, packs of bikers raced through the streets of downtown West Chester Saturday for the ninth annual Iron Hill Twilight Criterium Races.

Professional and amateur racers lapped Gay and Market Streets at speeds that pushed 40 miles per hour as temperatures pushed 100 degrees.

Inside the loop a street party featured attractions from a Kidzone to vendors and outdoor dining with a front row seat for the race.
