Chesco Attorney Patrick McKenna Is Honored For Legal Services
McKenna is honored by the Chester County Bar Association for his achievements in the legal profession.

WEST CHESTER - Attorney Patrick McKenna received the Chester County Bar Association award for outstanding achievement in the legal profession and advancing the goals and principles of the country's constitutional form of government.
The award was presented at the association’s annual president’s dinner on March 11 at the Aronimink Golf Club, Newtown Square.
Michelle Bernardo-Rudy, president of the association, said she was honored to present the award to McKenna, a partner at the firm, Gawthrop Greenwood, PC, West Chester.
McKenna is chairman of the the firm's management committee and member of the goverment and education law department, which is ranked nationally for Land Use and Zoning Law.

He represents municipalities, zoning hearing boards, planning commissions in Delaware and Chester counties. He also provides legal advice to developers and landowners.

McKenna was recognized for his work as 2020 president of the Chester County Bar Foundation.
The foundation helps Chester County citizens understand, gain access to and benefit from the legal system.
The foundation supports agencies including Legal Aid of Southeastern Pennsylvania, Domestic Violence Center of Chester County, Crime Victims’ Center of Chester County and Family Service of Chester County.
Matt Holliday, executive director of the Chester County Bar Association, said the association is lucky to have had his leadership in a great number of positions for most of the last 20 years.
“Knowing him as I do, I am sure he will continue to be one of our biggest supporters as he seeks to constantly contribute to our Chester County community, ” Holliday said.
McKenna received a bachelor’s of arts degree from St. Joseph University and a law degree from Widener University School of Law.
McKenna has been a member of the Chester County Bar Association since 2002 and has also served as vice president, treasurer and secretary.
In addition, he is a past chairman of the young lawyers division and a past chairman of the judicial evaluation and bylaws committees.
