Chesco Malls Open for Black Friday Business

CHESTER COUNTY, PA — Mall shopping isn't stopping and Chester County's largest centers will be open for Black Friday. Coventry Mall in Pottstown is one that opens on Thanksgiving night.

Main Street at Exton, near the intersection of U.S. 100 and Rt. 30, is open 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. thought hours for individual stores in the outdoor walking mall will vary.

The large Barnes and Noble store at 301 Main St. has its own hours. It is open 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. today, Thanksgiving Eve, but will be closed on Thanksgiving Day. It opens at 8 a.m. on Black Friday and will be open until 9 p.m. During the holiday season it will stay open until 10 p.m. on Dec. 18-23 and will be open Christmas Eve 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Exton Square Mall nearby is open today 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. and is closed Thanksgiving Day. On Black Friday, it will open at 6 a.m. and stay open until 9 p.m.

During the holiday season, Exton Square Mall will be open 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily and 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sundays.

King of Prussia Mall is the place for those who cannot wait until Black Friday to shop, just over the county line; the KOP Mall will open at 6 p.m. on Thanksgiving and will remain open until 1 a.m. Friday. KOP will close for five hours and reopen again at 6 a.m. on Black Friday, staying open until 10 p.m.

It will be open Saturday, Nov. 30 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Sunday, Dec. 1, 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Philadelphia Premium Outlets in Pottstown at 18 W. Lightcap Road is open today from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. It will be closed Thanksgiving Day, but the outlets will reopen at 6 a.m. on Black Friday and stay open until 9 p.m. Premium Outlets will be open on Satuday 10 a.m to 9 p.m. and Sunday 10 a.m to 7 p.m.

Its Christmas Eve hours are 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. and the outlets will be closed Christmas Day.

Coventry Mall at 351 W Schuylkill Road, in Pottstown is open on Thanksgiving beginning at 5 p.m. until midnight.

It opens again on Black Friday at 6 a.m. until 9 p.m. Its regular house will be 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday-Wednesday and Thursday 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Sundays 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
