Chesco Man Charged In Fatal Shooting Of Two Women and Unborn Child

Mamadou Kallie is in Chester County Prison on Memorial Day without bail on charges of killing two women and an unborn child and carjacking.

WEST CHESTER —A Coatesville man is accused of killing two women and an unborn child and carjacking another victim before threatening to commit suicide within two hours and 20 minutes in four municipalities, police said.

Mamadou Kallie, 23, is in Chester County Prison Monday without bail on charges of first-degree murder, murder of an unborn child, carjacking, endangering the welfare of a child and related charges.

Police said the fatal shootings followed a call to Coatesville police for a domestic dispute.

“These senseless and tragic murders of two women and an unborn child should outrage everyone,” Chester County District Attorney Deb Ryan said in a statement Monday.
“Domestic violence continues to plague our communities and our homes, and its ripple effect has life-altering consequences for too many people.
“We will do everything in our power to hold Mamadou Kallie accountable for these premeditated, intentional and cold-blooded murders.”

The victims were unidentified.

First-degree murder carries a mandatory sentence of life in prison.

According to investigators:

At 9:22 p.m. Sunday, Coatesville police officers responded to a call involving a domestic dispute in the 300 block of Mount Pleasant Street.

After speaking with the victim and defendant, the scene was cleared.

At 9:52 p.m., Valley Township police responded to an accident and reports of shots being fired in the 300 block of East Glencrest Road.

A female, who was five months pregnant, was pronounced dead at the scene. A second female was taken to Paoli Hospital, where she was pronounced dead.

A 22-month-old child in the backseat of the vehicle was uninjured.

At 10: 45 p.m., West Chester police responded to a carjacking at Route 162 and Telegraph Road, East Bradford Township.

A male victim reported he was held at gunpoint and his car had been stolen by the suspect.

After a police pursuit, the suspect was stopped in Caln Township.

The suspect exited the car holding a gun to himself at 11:04 p.m.

Police successfully negotiated a peaceful surrender and the defendant was taken into custody at 11:41 p.m.

Police recovered the firearm the suspect was holding, which contained a live round in the chamber and a live round in the magazine.
