Chesco Poll Worker Shows Voter Fraud, Gets Big Texas-Sized Check
Chester County poll worker Eric Frank got $25,000 from Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick's campaign after he revealed a voter fraud case by a Republican.

WEST CHESTER, PA — A Chester County Democratic poll work made national news by identifying and providing evidence of voter fraud by a Republican voter in Chester County.
Eric Frank responded to a challenge by Texas Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick who offered bounty-style rewards for proven voter fraud from a $1 million campaign account. Frank showed a 72-year-old Republican man voted twice, once for himself and once for his son, who was a registered Democrat, according to an AP report.
Frank received a check for $25,000 last week, the first issued by Patrick's campaign.

The Chester County Democratic Committee issued a statement after the flurry of reporting on the local man's receipt of $25,000. "Congratulations to Eric Frank, a Chester County Democratic poll worker for receiving a $25,000 'bounty' from Texas for finding election fraud perpetrated by a Republican voter."
Patrick's campaign intended to unearth cases of Democrats who committed voter fraud, so Frank's finding did not support the Republican's campaign goals.

Chester County's Democratic Committee added, "As in every other attempt by Republicans to undermine our confidence in our elections, the election results stand and the only fraud exposed in Texas was a vote cast for Republican candidates. Chester County voters can once again be assured that our elections are fair and fraud will not be tolerated."
Frank spoke with news outlets nationwide. Below is an interview with Democrat-leaning MSNBC, in which he explains how the voter fraud came to his attention as he was working at a Chester County polling place. He said poll workers told Ralph Thurman he didn't need to show his ID because he'd been coming for so many years that they knew him. Thurman, Frank explained, stated to poll workers that he could return and vote in place of his son. Later in the day, that is what happened, Frank told MSNBC.
