Today Is The Deadline To Sign-Up To Vote In The May Primary

Chester County has designated three locations to sign-up to vote and receive infomation.

WEST CHESTER —Residents are reminded today is the deadline to register to vote in May primary.

Voters can register at the Government Services Center, 601 Westttown Road.

In addition, satellite offices at Henrietta Hankin Library ,15 Windgate Dr, Chester Springs, and Oxford Valley Library, Oxford Township. Times are available here.

Satellite offices can assist with the following processes:

  • Register to vote or update current voter registration.
  • Apply for a mail-in/absentee ballot.
  • Your application will be processed and a ballot will be issued to you.
  • Vote by mail-in/absentee ballot and submit it via a drop box.
  • Cancel and reissue a ballot, if:
    • A mistake was made on your ballot.
    • Your ballot was damaged
    • You misplaced your ballot
    • You did not receive your ballot

When coming to a satellite office, you must bring a valid proof of identification.

Approved forms of photo identification include: Pennsylvania driver’s license or PennDOT ID card, ID issued by any Commonwealth agency, ID issued by the U.S. Government, U.S. passport, U.S. Armed Forces ID, student ID, or employee ID.

If you do not have a photo ID, you can use a non-photo identification that includes your name and address such as: confirmation issued by the County Voter Registration Office, non-photo ID issued by the Commonwealth, non-photo ID issued by the U.S. Government, Firearm permit, current utility bill, current bank statement, current paycheck or government check.
