Chesco Under Tornado Watch Until 8 P.M.
The National Weather Service issued a tornado watch for Chester and 37 other PA counties until 8 p.m. Wednesday.
CHESTER COUNTY, PA — A Tornado Watch is in effect until 8 p.m. Wednesday night in Chester County, and counties to the west, according to the National Weather Service.
Thirty-eight Pennsylvania counties west of the Philadelphia area and reaching into central Pennsylvania are named in the Watch area.
A Tornado Watch indicates there is a hazardous weather outlook and conditions that could develop into tornados.

Counties under the NWS Tornado Watch as of 3 p.m. Wednesday are: Adams, Bedford, Berks, Blair, Cambria, Cameron, Carbon, Centre, Chester, Clearfield, Clinton, Columbia, Cumberland, Dauphin, Elk, Franklin, Fultion, Huntingdon, Juniata, Lackawanna, Lancaster, Lebanon, Lehigh, Luzerne, Lycoming, Mifflin, Monroe, Montour, Northhampton, Northumberland, Perry, Schuylkill, Snyder, Somerset, Sullivan, Union, Wyoming, and York.
The Tornado Watch area also includes much of Maryland.
