'Demon In The House': Chesco Child Rapist Gets Major Prison Sentence
The man raped multiple children over the course of five years, the DA said.
WEST CHESTER, PA — A Chester County man has been sentenced to up 119 years in prison for raping and sexually abusing multiple children over the course of five years, the district attorney's office announced.
Sean Crawford, 46, of West Chester, was officially sentenced to 59.5 to 119 years behind bars by Chester County Court of Common Pleas Judge Alita A. Rovito.
"The defendant sexually assaulted multiple child victims and physically threatened the victims in order to prevent them from seeking help," District Attorney Christopher de Barrena-Sarobe said in a statement. "Thanks to the bravery of the victims, he will now serve the rest of his life in prison."

All of his victims were under Crawford's care when he abused them, police said. The youngest victim was only nine years old when the abuse began.
In addition to raping and sexually abusing the children, he would also beat and choke them routinely, sometimes locking them in a small closet as punishment, officials said. He also threatened to kill them if they told anyone about the abuse, the DA said.
