Chester Co. Man Killed In Boating Tragedy In North Carolina
The man was captain of a yacht traveling from Cape May, New Jersey to Florida.
OUTER BANKS, N.C. — A Chester County man was killed in a boating accident along the North Carolina coast over the weekend, according to reports and the owners of the boat.
Francis Hennigan Jr., 50, of Glenmoore, was the captain of the boat, according to Winter Custom Yachts, which owned the boat.
He was taking the boat from Cape May, New Jersey down to Florida when the incident occurred, the company said.

A crew member, Point Pleasant Beach, New Jersey resident Taylor Flannery, was injured.
It's not yet clear exactly what caused the incident, though officials say the vessel, "Moonstruck," capsized in the Oregon Inlet, which connects the massive Pamlico Sound to the Atlantic Ocean.

A CBS17 report describes the "Moonstruck" as a 50-foot yacht.
The pair were planning to stop in nearby Beaufort, North Carolina for repairs, according to a report from local radio station WKRT.
