Chester County Commissioners Meeting Via Zoom On Wednesday
Chesco commissioners encourage attendance and input in meetings, and remind county residents of Household Hazardous Waste drop-off Saturday.
WEST CHESTER, PA — The Chester County Commissioners' public meeting will again be virtual, on Wednesday, Aug. 26 at 7 p.m.
Commissioners Marian Moskowitz, Josh Maxwell and Michelle Kichline have scheduled their next regular public meeting via Zoom.
"COVID-19 may have temporarily changed the way that Chester County government conducts its public meetings, but County residents are still encouraged to 'attend' those meetings to find out, first hand, the role and responsibilities of county government," the commissioners' office said this week.

As with all Chester County government public meetings, attendees, whether live or virtual, have the opportunity for public comment, or ask questions about or comment on agenda items.

Tuesday, Aug. 25 Sunshine Meeting 10-10:30 a.m.
Tuesday, Aug. 25 Prison Board Meeting 1- 1:30 p.m.
Wednesday, Aug. 26 Commissioners' Meeting 7 p.m.

Saturday, Aug. 29 Household Hazardous Waste Drop-Off Event 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Drop off is at Oxford School District Administrative Building, 125 Bell Tower Lane Oxford, PA 19363.
The Household Hazardous Waste drop-off is a drive-through event. Materials must stay in the trunk of car or in the bed of a truck , and residents must stay in their cars during drop-off and must wear a mask. The maximum drop-off allowed is 25 gallons or 220 pounds of materials per household.
No electronics or appliances will be taken on Saturday. No latex paint is accepted, because it can be disposed of with household trash. Also, no tires, asbestos, explosives, grill propane tanks, cylinders, petroleum contaminated soil, large drums, ammunition, medical, radioactive, commercial, industrial, or unidentified waste will be taken.
