National Weather Service Advises Eastern Chesco To Watch For Rising Creeks In Days Ahead
A Flash Flood Watch includes Chester County with hazardous weather forecast in eastern Chesco today by the National Weather Service.
CHESTER COUNTY, PA — Rain is upon us again and a Flash Flood Watch issued Thursday morning for eastern Pennsylvania includes Chester County with a hazardous weather forecast for eastern Chesco, according to the National Weather Service.
The risk for excessive rainfall in southeastern Pennsylvania and southern New Jersey has gone slightly down, the National Weather Service said, noting that the Lehigh Valley and North Jersey are more likely to receive the brunt of the front.
But a storm will bring rain, possible thunderstorms, and isolated tornadoes, potentially with damaging wind gusts. The flash flood watch, in place for the entire region, has been moved up to start at 11 a.m. Rain is likely to start in the late morning or early afternoon hours.
