Chester County Massage Therapist Assaulted Client, Police Say
A therapist in West Goshen is accused of sexually assaulting a client during a massage last weekend.

A Lancaster County man has been arrested and charged with aggravated indecent assault after police say he sexually assaulted a client during a massage therapy session.
James R. Dieter, 63, of Holtwood, has been remanded to Chester County Prison on $25,000 bail after the district attorney’s office and West Goshen Township police arrested him Wednesday.
“This defendant took advantage of a victim in a very vulnerable position,” said Assistant District Attorney Michael Noone. ”The defendant groomed the victim by providing massage therapy a number of times before sexually assaulting her. He waited until he had earned her trust over a number of appointments before assaulting her.”

According to the DA’s office, the defendant was a massage therapist at Massage Envy on West Chester Pike in West Goshen. Police say that the victim contacted investigators May 2 and said that Dieter inappropriately touched intimate parts of her body during a therapy session.
The report from the DA’s office says that she had been a client who had six previous sessions with Dieter that were normal, and that she recommended him to her friends. After the May 2 incident, she immediately contacted the police.
