There are plenty of pets at the Chester County Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (CCSPCA) that are in need of a good home.

There are plenty of pets at the Chester County Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (CCSPCA) that are in need of a good home. Here are the CCSPCA’s featured pets of the week (listed in the order in which their pictures appear above):

Dolly

“I am the queen of our agility circuit and I love showing off my skills! I walk well on a leash too! Athletic prowess aside, I am just looking for a good friend to hang out with who will pet my super soft, gleaming black coat, acquiesce to some sweet doggie kisses and enjoy hugs with me! I don’t think that is too much to ask, do you?”

Male, neutered terrier-American pit bull/mix. 1 year, 2 months. From the CCSPCA:

“I am energetic yet well behaved and know how to sit on command. I love treats and that will help my new family teach me many more fun things!”

Buddy

Male, neutered boxer/mix. 6 years, 7 months. From the CCSPCA:

“I am a well behaved gentleman that walks well on a leash and I love to play fetch. I know some commands and will do them with a boxer smile on my face. I appear to be housetrained so that makes me even more appealing, if that is possible.”

Vanessa

Female, spayed domestic shorthair. 3 years old. From the CCSPCA:

“I am a very sweet, affectionate, petite girl. I hope you like to talk because I sure do. There is nothing that makes me happier than sitting in your lap while we chat. I bet we would have some great conversations! Did I mention that I am good with children too? I am FIV+ so I will need to be an only cat or live with other FIV+ cats.”

Alfalfa

Male neutered domestic shorthair. 4 years old. From the CCSPCA:

“I have a beautiful white coat. Because I am such a loving boy, I immediately became a shelter favorite. I am FIV+ so I will need to be an only cat or live with other FIV+ cats. Frankly, I have so much love to give, you may not need another cat!”

Tink

Female spayed medium hair mix. 4 years old. From the CCSPCA:

“My medium length coat is very unique and rare combination of tabby and dilute tortoiseshell mix. I am social, sweet and gentle. I love to interact with people. Don’t allow the fact that I am FIV+ to discourage you from meeting me.”

Cinnabon

Female spayed domestic short hair mix. 3 years old. From the CCSPCA:

“I can be quite a diva at times so I would do best with an experienced cat owner. I have tested positive for FIV so it is recommended that I am an only cat or live with another FIV+ cat. I would be a great companion for someone who is able to read my body language.”

Waldo

Male neutered domestic short hair mix. 4 years old. From the CCSPCA:

“I am a handsome four year old male orange tabby who came into the CCSPCA as a stray on April, 23, 2015. I am very social and enjoy a good lap to relax on. I would do best in a home with older children.”
