Chester County Walks to Fight Leukemia

Survivors and supporters alike will be coming out for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.

People from across Chester County will be taking part in the Light the Night Walk, a benefit for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, on Sept 28.

The walk, which will take place in Westtown, is a two-mile trek that will feature all the participants holding illuminated balloons to honor leukemia survivors and those who have lost their lives to cancer.

“Light The Night Walk gives hope to patients and their families and lets them know that they are not alone in their battle against cancer,” Maida R. Milone, the Executive Director of the Eastern Pennsylvania Chapter, said in a release. “It is a night to pay tribute to lives touched by cancer, honor those we have lost, and celebrate the lives that have been saved.”
