- Fowler began sexually and physically abusing the victim when she was between the ages of 5-11 years old, beginning in 2007 in multiple locations across Chester County when the defendant babysat the victim and at other times.
- The victim also stated that the defendant would physically abuse her when she would not comply and threatened her on multiple occasions.
- The victim also reported to police that the defendant told her that if she told anyone, he would kill her.
After the verdict, District Attorney Deb Ryan said the defendant violated a young and helpless child in the most horrific ways.
“He deprived her of a normal childhood,” Ryan said. “The strength of the victim to come forward was crucial for this case.

"As with most sexual assault cases there were no eyewitnesses to these unimaginable acts and the victim was not ready to report it for several years. We are very grateful to the jury for giving this victim justice.”
