Child Sex Abuse Lands West Chester Man Up To 50 Years In State Prison

WEST CHESTER, PA —A 40-year-old West Chester man was sentenced Thursday in the Chester County Justice Center to 25 to 50 years in state prison for sexually assaulting a seven-year-old girl from Honduras in West Goshen Township.

Judge Patrick Carmody sentenced Luis Aguilar Dircio after he was convicted by on April 14 of aggravated indecent assault of a child, endangering the welfare of children, corruption of minors, unlawful contact with minors, and related charges on April 14, 2023.

Police said Dircio paid for the victim and her mother to be brought to the United States from Honduras in April 2018.

The victim reported to police that 12 days after she arrived, the defendant began to sexually abuse her at a residence in West Goshen Township.

The child said that she was sexually assaulted for three years while her mother was asleep or at work.

District Attorney Deb Ryan said the victim was deprived of a normal childhood because she was forced into a pattern of child abuse by the defendant.

“The defendant took advantage of the child by inflicting horrific abuse and by threatening the life of her father if she reported it,” Ryan said.
